If you enjoy having a a beer every once in a while, leave your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you expect to use on beverages, tips and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You could have a win following a intoxicated night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not go well together.
Keeping your money at home might be a tiny bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you bet to win, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed brain throws away everything!
Let me to take this one step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on the web to bet in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, however since I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is absolutely adequate to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both make for an awful, and costly, cocktail.
