If you enjoy a cocktail from time to time, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all money, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to squander and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You could have a success after a boozy evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps game. Keep that adventure considering that it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and bet. These activities just do not mix.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but preventative measures for excessive actions is a requirement. If you play to profit, then don’t drink and play. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a worry, then consume all the gratis booze you are able to handle, but don’t take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated brain throws away everything!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. do not drink and then hop on to the internet to bet in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my condo, however seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
How come? Although I don’t drink alcohol a lot, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly sufficient to cloud my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
