If you enjoy a drink ever so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and checks at home. Take whatever money you intend to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not really. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a inebriated night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to hook a long roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it is as short-lived as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The two just don’t mix.
Keeping your cash out of the casino might be a bit dramatic, but preventative measures for dramatic actions is required. If you play to profit, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to burn your assets without a concern, then drink all the free booze you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and checks to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your hooched up head squanders everything!
Let me to take this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head online to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I love to beverage from the comfort of my home, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is absolutely enough to blur my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
