If you enjoy having a a drink from time to time, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and checks at home. Take whatever money you intend to spend on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You can have a win after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hit a marathon roll at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a tiny bit excessive, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is compulsory. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the free booze you can handle, but don’t pack credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your bombed self loses everything!
Allow me to carry this 1 step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the web to play in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my apartment, however seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Even though I don’t drink a lot, when I drink, it is absolutely enough to befuddle my judgment. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, drink.
